Every now and then there will be a moment in my day when I see something that makes me stop and say, “That is homeschooling.” It’s nothing big or really profound, just a little thing. But after all, it’s the little things that really matter.
Some of you already homeschool and you know exactly what I’m talking about. And if not, then you may be curious about the little things that make homeschooling such a big blessing. From time to time, I will share some of those little things with you. Here is one from last week:
Homeschooling is…
when your children can go outside and step right into the century they’ve been hearing mom read about. Not only have we been studying American history all year in books and stories, but they get to spend their afternoons doing their own little reenactments. That is fun. That is learning. That is childhood. And because they are with me, I get to watch! 🙂
What are some of the little things that make you feel blessed as a mom?
Stuff happens. And you need a place to put it all. One thing that will…
Do you love words as much as I do? I am such a word-nerd…
