Thirty-one years ago today, my family lost my baby brother. Due to birth complications, he was only with us for four months. But he was, and is, so loved.
And on this very day, as I write, my own (16 yr old) baby boy is with friends at the march for life in Washington, DC to say with others there, that life is precious. I can’t think of a better tribute to the uncle he never got to know, but shares a name with.
It seems only fitting that I add my voice to his, in saying that every life is precious…healthy, sick, young, old, just born, being born, or being formed, planned or unplanned. In fact, God does have a plan for every life.
“For You have formed my inward parts, You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139:13
